 Australian skipper Ricky Ponting smashed a LCD television set in the team''s dressing room here, apparently in a fit of anger, after he got run out against  Zimbabwe , sources in the  Gujarat  Cricket Association (GCA) said today. The incident took place immediately after Ponting was run out on 28 yesterday by a direct hit from Chris Mpofu in the Group A clash between  Australia  and Zimbabwe. GCA said that they had informed the Australian cricket authorities about the incident But when the Australian media manager Lachy Patterson was contacted, he said he was not aware of any such incident.  Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager Maroof have been fine Rs. 15 lakh in connection with the recovery of undeclared foreign currency from them at the airport in Delhi on February 13. Earlier, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials questioned the singer extensively to find out where the  money  came from and why it was not declared. According to the sources, the money he was carrying was received for his seven performances.   Shatrughan Sinha is now standing on the other side of the law in Bihar. The actor turned MP from the political party BJP has been issued an  arrest warrant  on the charges of violating the model code. Sinha was holding a meeting in Bihar for the upcoming election last  year  for the candidate from Ramnagar. The FIR against the actor has been filed as his helicopter landed in the West Champaran district  at the village of Belwa Bahauri without the permission of the authorities. Nishant Kumar Tiwari, the superintendent of police has said that the arrest warrant was issued after an inquiry was set up and the report found the MP to be guilty. Salman Khan’s character in Bodyguard is called Lovely Singh. Apparently, they wanted it to be Chulbul Pandey, but  the star  did not want his trademark Dabangg name in it.
